Is it safe for your store?
Yes. Monitor behaves like just another visitor — with safeguards a regular visitor doesn't have.
- It can't see your customers' carts. The bot shops in its own isolated session — just like every visitor on their own computer. It cannot see, change or empty a real customer's cart, and it throws its own session and cart away after every check.
- No skewed stock or stats. The test order is cancelled automatically right away, and items 'in the cart' are not reserved in Shoptet — nothing is ever blocked for your customers.
- No changes to your website. Nothing is installed into your template or admin — monitoring runs from the outside, on our infrastructure. One check = one visit; your store is never slowed down.
- It plays with cards face up. The bot identifies itself as 'Cartbeat/1.0' — you'll recognise it in your traffic logs and can easily exclude it from analytics.
